Pros:1:RAID still going strong. stays nice and cool....still quiet and reliable! With a small foot print.2:Dual Core power3:uses ECC RAM4:Torx Key and screws for hard drives included in server door5:On-Motherboard USB port for USB embedded OS'esCons:1:Amazons Price compared to NEWEGG which is 60.00 dollars cheaper2:Only 1GB RAM3:Only 2 USB ports in back4:Who needs a 250 gig hdd ? UselessNotes: If you have the means upgrade the Ram asap - I believe the max is like 8GBAlso ditch the 250gb drive. I'm my experience its better to use a larger drive as the boot drive

This little guy surprised me. There was a lot of thought that went into the design. From the extra screws and Allen wrench holder in the drawer, to the way the cables are organized inside the case. Very nice. I ended up putting a HD Radeon 5450 card because I didn't have a VGA monitor and it was only a little more that getting a working VGA to DVI/HDMI adapter (not the cheap $5 will NOT convert your signal properly). Just make sure you use the LOW PROFILE brackets on the video card.This thing has been running in my basement for over two months, not a single problem. I have a Cat6 wired home and use it to store and deliver movies, documents, pictures and other media. Also, I put WHS 2011 on the included 250GB 7200 RPM drive that I mounted in the 5.25" bay, bypassed putting in a DVD, installed WHS from a USB drive and put 4 2TB Samsung HDs as storage in RAID 5. Also added a 4GB stick of ECC ram to the included 1GB for a total of 5GB. All devices were recognized and there were zero hitches. I would and already have recommended this box to friends as a small home server.

What I like1. Runs FreeNAS 8 with no issues2. Uses ECC RAM3. Comes with torx key and screws!4. On motherboard usb port (easy to get to)5. Expansion slots (I added a 2nd NIC Intel CT)6. Great build quality. Better than BYO/DIYWhat I don't like1. Wasted hard drive (250GB shipped with it)
