This Server is a workhorse. For the price, it is an unbeatable deal. You get built-in, hot-plug, easy to setup RAID 0/1/10/5/6, 3 year onsite parts and labor warranty and a 24 hour live HP support all for a grand! Just keep in mind this configuration comes with SFF (2.5) cage, so if you intend to use this server with LFF (3.5) drives, you will have to purchase LFF cage. I saw a cage listed on Amazon for $45 or something like that. Alternatively order a different configuration, since the ML 350 G6 series server comes in different configurations.Seriously, I wonder how HP makes money selling a sever of this caliber for a grand, not only that, but also provide a 3 year onsite warranty! For a mission critical system like a server, without the lengthy 3 year warranty, one or two service calls could easily eat up a grand. So great job HP for throwing in a 3yr warranty. This server could easily support a 25 user small business or a large department/workgroup even under heavy load, such as a transactional system or database.

This server is great! My company has bought 3 so far and they're very easy to set up. The RAID management (done via the included system tools CD) is incredibly easy to use and automatically configures itself based on the number of drives plugged in. My company has a corporate account at Best Buy so we've purchased them through BB instead, but they cost $1500 there and don't come with drive caddies, which we end up purchasing from amazon every time. I'm able to stuff 6 LFF hard drives into this bad boy. I normally use 2 TGB drives which gives me about 8-9 TB depending on raid configuration.It's a very powerful machine and has 2 ethernet ports, and can even be have another processor added to it. I always get comments on this server when it first turns out because as the fan spins up for the first time it sounds like it's about to take off.It does come with some keys on the back which are supposedly for unlocking the front cover, but even though they fit in I have not yet been able to unlock it with the keys. A flathead screwdriver works just as well.
